ORDINANCE N0. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N�. 2331, PASSED BY THE COMMON <br />COUNCIL JUNE 252 1923 AND COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 2331 be, and the same is <br />hereby amended by adding to it the zoning classification of the <br />following described property, to wit: <br />That territory south of West Sample Street to the right <br />of way of the St. Joseph and Southern Railway, and between the old <br />city limit line at Gladstone Street on the east and Mayflower Road <br />on the west, which was added to the city by annexation ordinance <br />#3315. Of this territory, Block A of Belleville Gardens Addition <br />is hereby classified C,commercial use district and E height and area <br />district. All property in Blocks B and L. fronting on Mayflower <br />Circle, is hereby zoned B residence district and A height and area <br />district. All other property in Belleville Gardens Addition, not <br />dedicated for public use, is hereby zoned A residence district and <br />A height and area district. All unplatted territory lying east of <br />Lombardy Drive to the former city limit line at Gladstone Street is <br />hereby zoned E heavy industrial district and F height and area district. <br />SECTION II. Be it further ordained that the territory added <br />to the city by annexation ordinance #3363 and being that territory <br />within the present city limits between the right of way of the <br />Pennsylvania Rialway and the westerly city limit line, which is on the <br />centerline of Kemble Avenue extended south, which has not been previously <br />zoned, is hereby zoned E heavy industrial districe and F height and <br />area district. Also that property fronting on the south side of <br />Chippewa Avenue, east of the Pennsylvania, Railroad to the east line <br />of Section 26, T 37 N, R 2 E, is hereby zoned B residence district/ <br />and B height and area district. <br />SECTION III. Be it further ordained that the territory added <br />to the city by annex &tion ordinance #3369 and described as follows: <br />Beginning at the point where the east line of High Street prolonged <br />. <br />I <br />
