ORDINANCE NO. ' AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR-THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAY- ING THE EXPENSES OF THE FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1945, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1945 INCLUDING ALL OUTSTANDING CLAIMS AND OBLIGATIONS, AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I That for the expenses of the Firemen's Pension Fund of said City for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1945, the following sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the funds herein named and for the purpose here specified, subject to the laws governing the same. Such sums herein appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures authorized to be made during the year unless otherwise expressly stipulated and provided by law. SECTION II. That for the said fiscal year there is hereby appropriated out of the "Firemen's Pension Fund" of said City, the following: Detailed Classification FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND Services - Personal Salary & Wages Regular 150.00 150.00 Services - Contractual Traveling Expense 25,00 Legal Services 250.00 275.00 Supplies Records, Stationery, Printing 15.00 Other Office Supplies 10.00 25.00 Current Charges Pensions to retired Firemen 43,560.00 Pensions to firemen becoming eligible during year 7,920.00 Pensions to dependents of deceased firemen 11,967.37 Death benefits 800.00 Contingencies 50.00 64,297.37 TOTAL $ 64,747.37 SECTION III.
