ORDINANCE NO. ' <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR-THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAY- <br />ING THE EXPENSES OF THE FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND OF THE CITY <br />GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1945, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1945 <br />INCLUDING ALL OUTSTANDING CLAIMS AND OBLIGATIONS, AND FIXING <br />A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I <br />That for the expenses of the Firemen's Pension Fund of said <br />City for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1945, the following sums <br />of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the funds <br />herein named and for the purpose here specified, subject to the laws <br />governing the same. Such sums herein appropriated shall be held to <br />include all expenditures authorized to be made during the year unless <br />otherwise expressly stipulated and provided by law. <br />SECTION II. <br />That for the said fiscal year there is hereby appropriated out <br />of the "Firemen's Pension Fund" of said City, the following: <br />Detailed Classification <br />FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND <br />Services - Personal <br />Salary & Wages Regular 150.00 150.00 <br />Services - Contractual <br />Traveling Expense 25,00 <br />Legal Services 250.00 275.00 <br />Supplies <br />Records, Stationery, Printing 15.00 <br />Other Office Supplies 10.00 25.00 <br />Current Charges <br />Pensions to retired Firemen 43,560.00 <br />Pensions to firemen becoming <br />eligible during year 7,920.00 <br />Pensions to dependents of deceased <br />firemen 11,967.37 <br />Death benefits 800.00 <br />Contingencies 50.00 64,297.37 <br />TOTAL $ 64,747.37 <br />SECTION III. <br />This Ordinance shall be in full force end effect from and after <br />its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />�4 MEMBER OF T COMMON 0 CIL <br />A 4 <br />CITY CONTROLLER <br />
