ORDINANCE NO. &)14'eefl BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that: 1. The amount of Three Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($3,550.00) be and the same is hereby transferred from the General Fund of the City of South Bend to Budgetary Account No. P721- -Motor Equipment of the Police Department of said City, 2. That the amount of Three Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($3,550.00) be and the same is hereby appropriated to the uses of Budgetary Account No. P721- -totor Equipment of the Police Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana. 3. That an emergency exists requiring the transfer and appropriation of the aforementioned amount in that the Motor Equipment Account of the afore- mentioned Police Department was depleted by purchasing motor vehicles without trade -in and that the General Fund received Three Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($3,550.00) by the direct sale of used equipment being replaced upon the department, and that in the making of the Budgetary estimate, it was anticipated that the Motor Equipment purchased would be on a trade -in basis, which was not found to be economical. 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor, and after all necessary statutory requirements have been fulfilled. 4/i ;2-1,' V Member of the C on Council
