ORDINANCE NO. &)14'eefl <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, that: <br />1. The amount of Three Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars <br />($3,550.00) be and the same is hereby transferred from the General Fund of <br />the City of South Bend to Budgetary Account No. P721- -Motor Equipment of the <br />Police Department of said City, <br />2. That the amount of Three Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars <br />($3,550.00) be and the same is hereby appropriated to the uses of Budgetary <br />Account No. P721- -totor Equipment of the Police Department of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana. <br />3. That an emergency exists requiring the transfer and appropriation <br />of the aforementioned amount in that the Motor Equipment Account of the afore- <br />mentioned Police Department was depleted by purchasing motor vehicles without <br />trade -in and that the General Fund received Three Thousand Five Hundred Fifty <br />Dollars ($3,550.00) by the direct sale of used equipment being replaced upon the <br />department, and that in the making of the Budgetary estimate, it was anticipated <br />that the Motor Equipment purchased would be on a trade -in basis, which was not <br />found to be economical. <br />4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor, and after <br />all necessary statutory requirements have been fulfilled. <br />4/i ;2-1,' V Member of the C on Council <br />
