ORDINANCE NO. f <br />c <br />WHEREAS, it is desirable and necessary to protect <br />the health and safety of the inhabitants of the City of <br />South <br />Bend, <br />Indiana, <br />and to <br />protect <br />the value of property <br />in the <br />City <br />of South <br />Bend, <br />Indiana; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, in order to effectuate such purpose and <br />080 PAGE 05 <br />desire, it becomes necessary to annex the contiguous territory <br />hereinafter described. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, That: <br />Section 1: <br />The following described contiguous territory and land <br />in St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, be, and the same is <br />hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, and the boundaries of said City are hereby extended <br />to include the said property: <br />Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 168, <br />Ridgedale 4th Addition; thence South along <br />the present City limits a distance of Three <br />hundred and sixty feet (3601); thence East <br />and parallel with the present City limits a <br />distance of Right hundred ten and four tenths <br />feet (810.)}1) to the North and South center <br />line of Section 19, Township 37 North, Range <br />3 East; thence due North a distance of Three <br />hundred and sixty feet (3601) to the present <br />City limits; thence West along said City <br />limits a distance of Eight hundred ten and <br />four tenths (810.4.1) feet to place of begApning, <br />which is the Southeast corner of Lot 168, <br />Ridgedale 4th Addition. <br />Section 2: <br />This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br />and after its passage by the Common Co cil <br />, approval by the Mayor <br />and its legal publication. i /.. <br />
