DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, that. <br />1, The sum of Eight Hundred and Ten Dollars ($810.00) be, and <br />the same is hereby appropriated from the general fund of said City to Budgetary <br />Account No. B -11, covering salaries in the Police Department of said City for <br />the payment of salaries to Police Matrons. <br />2. The necessity for services by Police Matrons in handling adults <br />and juveniles arrested or detained by law, is in the nature of a Public <br />Emergency. <br />3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor, and the <br />fulfillment of all statutory requirements relating to such appropriation. <br />.
