<br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF ALL
<br />OF THE RIGHT, TITLE, AND INTEREST OF THE
<br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, IN AND TO
<br />ANY BONDS, COUPONS, AND /OR ASSESSMENTS
<br />HERETOFORE ISSUED UNDER IMPROVEMENT RESO-
<br />LUTION NO. 1687, APPROVED JUNE 15, 1926s
<br />COVERING ASSESSMENT ROLL NO. 2003, THE
<br />WASHINGTON AVENUE, FROM JACOB STREET TO
<br />ESTHER STREET, ASPHALT PAVEMENT AND WATER
<br />TAPS.
<br />WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, by virtue of the judgment and
<br />decree of the St. Joseph Superior Court No. 2 in the case of Read et al.,
<br />vs. Becziewicz, et al., being Cause No. 54558, is the owner of certain right,
<br />title, and interest in and to certain improvement bonds and coupons and
<br />assessments in Improvement Roll No. 2003s The Washington Avenue, from Jacob
<br />Street to Esther Street, asphalt pavement and water taps, which said bonds
<br />and coupons were issued and said assessments were levied pursuant to the
<br />provisions of Resolution No. 1687 of the Board of Public Works of the City
<br />of South Bend on the 15th day of June, 1926 and,
<br />WHEREAS, one John Dunnuck has offered to purchase all of the right,
<br />title, and interest of said city in and to said bonds, coupons, and
<br />assessments;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY the Common Council of the City
<br />of South Bend, Indiana, that the Judge of the Circuit Court of St. Joseph
<br />County is hereby requested to appoint three disinterested freeholders of
<br />this city for the appraisement of the right, title, and interest of the City
<br />in and to the bonds, coupons, and /or assessments of the Improvement Roll No.
<br />2003, issued pursuant to Resolution No. 1687 of the Board of Public Works on
<br />the 15th day of June, 1926, now owned by the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />BE IT FURTHER. ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
<br />South Bend, Indiana, that the City of South Bend sell, assign, transfer, and
<br />set over by proper instrument of assignment to John Dunnuck all of the
<br />right, title, and interest of said City of South Bend in and to the bonds,
<br />coupons, and /or assessments issued or levied pursuant to the provisions
<br />of Resolution No. 1687 of the Board of Public Works dated June 15a 1926,
<br />and being Improvement Roll No. 2003, the Washington Avenue, Jacob Street to
