Bill No. 95 -11 Resotuuon A Resolution of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, Commending LORETTA DUDA for her Eight (8)Years of Dedicated and Conscientious Service as the Council Member At 'O btrt4g, the Common Council acknowledges that Council Member Loretta Duda personally decided not to run for a third consecutive Council term as Council Member at Large, and as a result will complete eight (8) years of dedicated service to the City of South Bend on December 31, 1995; and '9v AIC"B, the Common Council notes that Loretta Duda will begin a new public service career on January 1, 1996 as City Clerk of the City of South Bend, Indiana; and '8fl W,999, the Common Council proudly notes with pride that Council Member Duda dedicated herself to many important public projects some of which included her leadership in sponsoring the "open container ordinance" which became landmark legislation and was copied in countless communities throughout the State of Indiana; and her sponsoring the "leaf burning" ordinance which has fostered cleaner air in our community as a result; and 'l btVC45, the Common Council notes that because of Council Member Duda!s special inspirational abilities in giving Invocations, that a former Council Member is able to walk better today!!
