Bill 95-112 <br />5— 95 <br />Resolution No. . <br />A Resolution of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, Commending <br />and Congratulating <br />COUNCIL PRESIDENT EUGENE LADEWSKI <br />for his more than <br />Five (5) Years of Dedicated and Conscientious Service as the Council Member At Large <br />for the City of South Bend St Joseph County. the State of Indiana. <br />'Obtrt4g, the Common Council acknowledges that Council President Eugene <br />Ladewski has had the opportunity to serve the citizens of the City of South Bend for a <br />second time as Council Member at Large, with the fast time being with Mayor Voorde and <br />most recently with Mayor Kernan; and <br />*069r00, the Common Council proudly notes with pride that Council President <br />Ladewski dedicated himself to many important public projects some of which included his <br />leadership in chairing the special committee to oversee taxi cab safety and sponsoring <br />legislation to work toward this goal; his selfless dedication to the Sister Cities Program <br />between the cities of Czestochowa, Poland, and the City of South Bend; as well as his <br />time and dedication as a vital member of several successful City Negotiating Teams; and <br />'D btr440, the Common Council also notes that the Council President's only flaw <br />was his unique ability to wager dinner opportunities on various sporting events with the <br />Council Attorney, which resulted in his wallet being thinner on each occasion!! <br />)WO, '+abevvfore, be it r¢solLeb by the ttoututou couuta of the City of south Xzub, <br />7nbtaus, as follows: <br />k¢tti tt 1. On behalf of all of the citizens of the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br />the Common Council hereby publicly commends and congratulates COUNCIL <br />PRESIDENT EUGENE LADEWSKI for his more than five (5) years of dedicated <br />public service as Council Member at Large of our fine City. <br />Oetti= II. During his public service career, COUNCIL PRESIDENT <br />EUGENE LADEWSKI provided positive and caring leadership, worked hard on many <br />difficult issues such as the County Option Income Tax and the Football Hall of Fame, and <br />achieved many accomplishments which were truly in the best interests of the City of South <br />Bend such as his sponsorship of the important taxi cab safety legislation. <br />&CtiOtt III. The Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, sincerely <br />thanks COUNCIL PRESIDENT EUGENE LADEWSKI for his more than five (5) <br />years of truly dedicated public service and hopes that he and his wife, Noreen, will stay <br />active in our community, and hopefully have additional time to spend with their children <br />and grandchildren. <br />Zttti tt IV.
