AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 421 NAVARRE AND 419 NAVARRE (NOW KNOWN AS 541 WILLIAM AND 543 WILLIAM), COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT No. 1 IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT WHEREAS, the subject properties are currently zoned R- 2 (Residential) and have been used for that purpose and the current owner of the properties intends to change their use to uses consistent with the zoning classification OB (Office Buffer). BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana as follows: SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 4990-68, is amended, which ordinance is commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby is amended in order that the zoning classification of the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana: Lot Numbered Six (6) as shown on the recorded Plat of Fred W. Keller's Subdivision of Lots No. 16, 17, 18 and 32 of Burroughs' Subdivision of Bank Out Lots Numbered 115 of the Third Plat of Out Lots of the Town, now City of South Bend, platted by the State Bank of Indiana, EXCEPTING THEREFROM a lot or parcel of land 40 feet in width, East and West, taken off of and from the entire width of the West end thereof. A part of Lots Five (5) and Six (6) as shown on the recorded Plat of Fred W. Kelley's Subdivision of Lots Sixteen (16), Seventeen (17), Eighteen (18), and Thirty-two (32) of Burrough's Subdivision of Bank Out Lot of One Hundred Fifteen (115) of the Third Plat of Out Lots of the Town, now City of South Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and the vacated alley on the North Side of Lots 16, 17, 18 which part is bounded by a line running as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot 6; thence East Forty (40) feet; thence North to a point Ten (10) feet South of the North line of Lot 5 in said subdivision; thence Southwesterly parallel with the Northerly line of said Lot 5 to the West line of said Lot 5; thence South along the West boundary of said Lots 5 and 6 to the place of beginning. be and the same is hereby established as OB (Office Buffer).
