Ironwood North Annexation Area - Fiscal Plan 3 <br />SECTION I. INTRODUCTION <br />This Fiscal Plan represents the City of South Bend's (hereinafter, "City ") policy for the annexation <br />of property in Clay Township, St. Joseph County (hereinafter, "Annexation Area "), and was <br />developed through the cooperative efforts of the Are Plan Commission of St. Joseph County and <br />the following City Departments: <br />Department of Law <br />Department of Public Works <br />South Bend Fire Department <br />South Bend Police Department <br />Department of Code Enforcement <br />Department of Community and Economic Development <br />Department of Administration and Finance <br />SECTION II. GENERAL DATA <br />A. Location <br />The Annexation Area is generally located north of State Road #23; West of Ironwood Drive; <br />South of Dunn Road (Hepler Street); and East of Willis Avenue. An Annexation Map (Map 1) <br />can be found in the back of this Fiscal Plan. <br />B. Legal Description <br />The Annexation Area is part of the East % of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 31, Township 38 North, <br />Range 3 East, Clay Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana. A complete legal description (Table I) <br />for the Annexation Area can be found in the back of this Fiscal Plan. <br />C. Contiguity <br />The Annexation Area is at least 1/8 (12.5 1/o) contiguous to the current City of South Bend limits. <br />Twenty -Six percent (26 %) of the aggregate external boundaries of the Annexation Area are <br />contiguous with the boundaries of the City: <br />Contiguous Non - Contiguous Total <br />1,280 feet 3,631 feet 4,911 feet <br />26% 74% 100% <br />
