Jack,.R:ed, Member <br />The Board of Public Safety met in the regular meeting at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Noveniber <br />12) 2008, with Board Members Juanita Dempsey, Bruce J. BonDurant,, Patrick D. CottrelL and <br />Jack Reed present. Board President Donald Alford was absent. Also present were Police Chief <br />Warryl Boykins, Fire Chief Howard Buchanon and Board Attorney Thomas Bodnar. <br />The meeting was held in the Board of Public Works Meeting Room, 13th Floor, County City <br />Building, South Bend, Indiana. <br />ACCEPT MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS <br />Ms. Dempsey stated if there were no objections or corrections, the minutes of the October 22, <br />2008 Board of Safety meeting would be accepted. <br />ELECTION OF BOARD PRE SIDENT <br />Ms. Dempsey requested a motion to nominate a President for the Board of Safety, for 2009. M. <br />Pat Cottrell made a motion that Ms. Juanita Dempsey be elected President of the Board of Rubli <br />Safety for the year 2009, Mr. Bruce BonDurant seconded the motion, which carried. <br />
