ZONING & ANNEXATION MARCH 23, 2015 3:30 P.M. <br />Committee Members Present: Oliver Davis, Valerie Schey, Henry Davis, Derek Dieter <br />Citizen Members Present: Vacant <br />Other Council Present: Tim Scott, Dr. Fred Ferlic, Dr. David Varner, Karen White, <br />Gavin Ferlic <br />Others Present: Mike Danch, David Relos, Angela Smith, Kathryn Roos, <br />Jack Smith <br />Agenda: Bill 02 -15 Ignition Park Rezoning <br />With a quorum present the Zoning & Annexation Committee was called to order by Chairman Oliver <br />Davis. <br />Bill 02 -15 was the only item on the agenda. This bill essentially annexes a portion of land north of <br />Indiana Avenue between Kemble and Scott streets to Ignition Park. <br />Chairman Davis called upon Angela Smith from the Area Plan Commission (APC) for the APC"s <br />disposition. Angela gave a brief description of the parcel noting the APC had forwarded a favorable <br />recommendation. <br />Mike Danch, representing this City initiated action, made the presentation more fully describing the <br />property to be rezoned and annexed. The diagram he provided is attached. <br />During the Council portion of the public hearing Valerie Schey made a point of saying the property was <br />owned by the Redevelopment Commission and would not require further Council action. Oliver Davis <br />urged that adjacent property owners be kept abreast of future development. <br />On motions by Derek Dieter and Valerie Schey which were affirmed by all the bill received a favorable <br />recommendation. <br />Chairman Oliver D,05—adjourn!jl the meeting at 3:40 P.M. <br />
