OR DINOCE NO. 3 S% <br />AN 0= ?DI1ANCE APPROVING A CERTAIN CONPRACT BiT;'9ZN <br />TIE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, ACTIQG -' ilMOUGH ITS <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY AND TFE DOOIEY <br />ELECTRIC COMPANY, A PARTN SHIP. <br />"MEREAS, the Board of Public .forks and Safety of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, after publishing notice and obtaining bids, has <br />accepted the bid of the Dooley Electric Company, a partnership, for the <br />construction and installation of a part of a traffic signal system within <br />said City and in accordance with the written specifications, and <br />?IHEREAS, the said Board of Public Works and Safety has made a <br />separate and additional agreement with said Dooley Electric Company for <br />additional work over and above that required under the specifications, and <br />71MREAS, the said contract calls for the expenditure of sums <br />properly appropriated and available. <br />JOjlt, TIJEH&FOTv, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, that: <br />1. The contract .made and entered into by and between the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, acting through its Board of Public VIorks and Safety, and <br />the Dooley Electric Company, a partnership, whereby the said Dooley Electric <br />Company agrees to construct and install a part of a traffic signal system in <br />accordance with certain written specifications for the sum of ti12436.60 in <br />accordance with the Unit prices set forth in said contract be, and the same <br />is hereby approved. <br />2. The additional portions of said contract calling for additional <br />work if required in an amount not to exceed x"431.53, be, and the same is hereby <br />approved. <br />3. The copy of said contract, without the written specifications <br />which are on file in the office of the Board of Public 'forks and Safety in <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana, be, and the same is hereby Wade a past of <br />t <br />this ordinance. <br />This ordinance shall be in ful: <br />age by the Common Council and its <br />Wit: n" F�i:�yn <br />WMER <br />1 /;?/.? <br />b/7 -�i <br />force and effect from and after <br />oval by the Mayor. <br />
