ORDINANCE NO. .5�5-,2 0— <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that improvements and modernization <br />of the Water Department of the City of South Bend is necessary and desirable, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, one of the steps in such improvement is the electrification <br />of the North Pumping Station, and <br />WHEREAS, a proposal has been made by Consoer, Townsend & Associates, <br />Consulting Engineers, concerning such improvement under date of May 9, 1945, and <br />WHEREAS, subject to the approval of the Common Council, said <br />proposal has been accepted by the Board of ??later Works Trustees. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, that: <br />1. The proposal of Consoer, Townsend & Associates dated May 9, 1945, <br />relating to the preparation of detailed designs, drawings and specifications <br />for electrification of North Pumping Station accepted by the Board of Water <br />Works Trustees on the 21st day of May, 1945, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof be, and the same is hereby, approved, ratified <br />and confirmed. <br />2.
