that: ORDINANCE NOA---�' A'] Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, 1. The proper officers of the City of South Bend are hereby authorized and directed to request the appointment of appraisers as required by law for the appraisal of the following described real estate located in the City of South Bend, County of St. Joseph, State of Indiana, to -wit: Beginning at the intersection of the Easterly line of Lot 25, South Bend Manufacturing Company Addition, and / the Easterly line of Lincoln Way East; thence Northerly 1 along the Easterly line of Lincoln ?fay East a distance of ninety -five and two tenths feet (95.21) to a point; thence Easterly at an angle to the right of eighty -eight degrees (880) and nine minutes (9) with the Easterly line of Lincoln ?'•Tay East a distance of eighty -one and four tenths feet (81.41) to a point; thence Southerly a distance of thirty - six and twenty -five hundredths feet (36.25') to the Easterly line of Lot 25; thence Southerly along said lot line a distance of thirty -five and five tenths feet (35.51) to an angle on the lot line; thence Southerly along said lot line a distance of seventy -nine and eight tenths feet (79.81) to the place of beginning excepting a triangular piece off the North corner of the tract more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of above described tract, said point being the most Northerly corner; thence Southeasterly along the Northerly line of said tract a distance of two and fifteen hundredths feet (2.151) to a point; thence Southwesterly to a point on the Westerly line of said tract, said point being three and two tenths feet (3.21) South of the Northwest corner; thence Northerly along said 1,7esterly line a distance of three and two tenths feet (3.21) to the place of beginning. 2. The proper officers of the City of South Bend are hereby authorized to execute any and all instruments necessary in order to sell the aforesaid property in accordance with the law. 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor.
