ORDINANCE NO. JOB � 0 AN ORDINANCE FOR THE EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION OF $3,000.00 AND FOR THE TRANSFER THEREOF FROM THE GENERAL.FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA IN THE BUDGET OF THE CITY CONTROLLER TO AN ACCOUNT KNOWN AS B -53, BEING THE AWARDS, REFUNDS AND INDEMNITIES ACCOUNT OF THE SAID CITY CONTROLLER OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. WHEREAS, it is desirable and urgently necessary that a. certain judgment obtained by Whitcomb & Keller, Inc. and others against the City of South Bend, Indiana, in the approximate amount of Three Thousand Four Hundred Eighty -three and 85/100 ($3,483.85) Dollars, be immediately paid. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, THAT: Section 1. The amount of Three Thousand ($3,000.00) Dollars, be and the same is, hereby specially transferred from the General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to an account known as the Awards, Refunds and Indemnities Account, being Account numbered B.53, and the said amount is hereby specially appropriated for the payment of a judgment obtained by Whitcomb & Keller, Inc. and others against the City of South Bend, Indiana in connection with the improvement of Chippewa Avenue and Fellow Street. Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor of the City of South Bend, together with the approval of the State Board of Tax Commissioners as provided by law.
