Transferring $600.00 from the Street & Traffic Fund to Insurance Account Budget of the Street Department

ORDINANCE NO. 3SSry Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that: 1. The amount of Six Hundred ($600.00) Dollars be, and the same is hereby, transferred from the Street and Traffic fund of said City to an account to be created and known as the Insurance Account in the budget of the Street Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the calendar year 1946. 2. The sum of Six Hundred ($600,00) Dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated for the uses and purposes of said Insurance Account in the budget of the Street Department of said City for said calendar year. 3. An emergency exists for the transfer and appropriation of said sum because of the immediate requirement that insurance be purchased upon certain equipment of said Street Department. 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and its regular publication in accordance with the statutes governing emergency appropriations.
