ORDINANCE NO. TJMFMAS, at the time the budget for the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the year 1946 was made up no bid had been received, or contract made and entered into for the hauling of garbage within the limits of said city in said year, and "FlEREAS, the amount appropriated for said purposes in the year 1946 is ;'46,406.00, and 7 =,REAS, the lowest and best bid received for the performance of such services is $59,951.14, and "-MREAS, the additional amount of $13,545.14 is, therefore, required for the year 1946, and 7,TEREAS, the health and welfare of the citizens of South fiend, Indiana, require that a contract be executed for the year 1946, and that such contract be executed before the end of the year 1945. NOW, TIERLEDRE, be it ordained by the Comunon Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that: SECTION I. The sum of "13,545.14 be, and the same is hereby, transferred from the General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to Budgetary Account No. I 261 - Contractural Services - in the budget of said city for the year 1946, and appropriated for the uses and purposes of said Account. SECTION II. An emergency exists requiring the foregoing transfer and appropriation. SECTION III.
