ORDINTYME NO. 3 5'A/ 3 INHER.EAS, the Common Council has approved the employment of engineers for the electrification of the North Pumping Station, and !`dMPEAS, such engineers have made their recommendations and produced final plans and specifications, and i`iHEREAS, the Board of "Dater 7.7orks Commissioners has asked and received 'bids upon such specifications for the purchase of necessary machinery and equipment, and for the completion of necessary construction, and T',TEREAS, the lowest and best bids under such plans and specifications for the electrification of the North Pumping Station has been determined and the Board of ?':rater Works Commissioners has made and entered into contract with each of said lowest and best bidders. N0 77, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that: 1. The contract made and entered into between the Board of ":rater Works Commissioners and the 'Northington Pump and Pachinery Corpomation, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof be, and the same is hereby approved, ratified and confirmed. 2.
