<br />P -11, SALARIES, POLICE DEPARTMENT, TO ACCOUNT NUMBER P -23
<br />INSTRUCTIONS, POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND THE SUM OF THREE
<br />HUNDRED FIFTY ($350.00) DOLLARS, FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER
<br />Z -62, CURRENT CHARGES, POLICE PENSION FUND, TO ACCOUNTT
<br />NUMBER Z -119 SALARY, POLICE PENSION FUND; AND THE SUM
<br />OF THREE HUNDRED FIFTY ($350.00) DOLLARS, FROM ACCOUNT
<br />NUMBER Y -62, CURRENT CHARGES, FIREI11EN'S PENSIONN FUND TO
<br />ACCOUNT NUMBER Y -11, SALARY, FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND, AND
<br />DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY.
<br />BE I'T ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
<br />BEND, INDIANA:
<br />Section 1. That the following money be, and the same hereby
<br />is, transferred from account number P -11, Salaries,.Police Depart-
<br />ment, to, and is appropriated for the uses and purposes of the
<br />following budgetary item in the budget of the Police Department of
<br />the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the year 1949, to -wit:
<br />Police Department:
<br />Account number P -23, Instructions, $1,750.00
<br />Section 2. That the following money be, and the same hereby
<br />is, transferred from account number Z -62, Current Charges, Police
<br />Pension Fund, to, and is appropriated for the uses and purposes of
<br />the following budgetary item in the budget of the Police Pension
<br />Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the year 1949, to -wit
<br />Police Pension Fund:
<br />Account number Z -11, Salary, $ 350.00
<br />Section 3. That the following money be, and the same hereby
<br />is, transferred from account number Y -62, Current Charges, Firemen
<br />Pension Fund, to, and is appropriated for the uses and purposes of
<br />the following budgetary item in the budget of the Firemen's Pensio.
<br />Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the year 1949, to -wit
<br />Firemen's Pension Fund:
<br />Account number Y -11, Salary, 350.00
<br />Section 4. That the above sums of money are required for th
<br />proper operation and function of the aforementioned Departments of
<br />the Government of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and an extra-
<br />ordinary emergency is declared to exist concerning the foregoing
<br />transfers and appropriations.
<br />Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
<br />effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its
<br />approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all the statutory
<br />requirements relating to extraordinary emergency appropriations.
