ORDINANCE NO. 359 <br />ZING THE <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, that: <br />1. The City of South Bend, Indiana, by and <br />through the Board of Public Works and Safety and other <br />proper officers and officials be and it hereby is <br />authorized to sell the following described personal <br />property formerly used by the South Bend Fire Depart- <br />ment, to -wit: <br />1 Two and one -half inch double male <br />connection. <br />1 Two and one -half inch double female <br />connection. <br />Hose and ladder straps. <br />1 Two and one -half Inch by four inch <br />suction hose connection. <br />1 Two and one -half inch play pipe. <br />1 Siren with motor, phase 3, Cyc 60, <br />R.P.M. 3400, AMP phase 5, H.P. 20 <br />bearing motor number P 539596. <br />2. The City of South Bend shall petition the <br />Judge of the St. Joseph Circuit Court for the appoint- <br />ment of three (3) disinterested freeholders of this city <br />to act as appraisers and upon compliance with law is <br />authorized to consummate the sale of said personal pro- <br />perty either singly or together as may be determined to <br />be in the best interests of said - city without further <br />approval of the Common Council <br />,/l 7 3.
