G <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3997 <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, that: <br />1. The following monies be, and the same are hereby, transferred <br />from the general fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to and are <br />appropriated for the uses and purposes of the following budgetary items in <br />the budget of said City for the year 1947, to -wit: To Police Department - P726 <br />Q726 <br />Other Equipment, 75,000.00; to Fire Department /- Other Equipment, X1200.00. <br />2. The above funds are repaired in order to purchase necessary <br />equipment for the proper operation and function of the aforementioned <br />departments, and an emergency is declared to exist concerning each of the <br />foregoing transfers and appropriations. <br />3.
