I <br />j <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />OF <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, that; <br />1. The City of South Bend, Indiana, by and <br />through the Board of Public Works and Safety and other <br />proper officers and officdals be and it hereby is author- <br />ized to sell the following described personal property <br />which is not now necessary to the proper operation and <br />function of the South Bend Police Department, to —wit <br />24 Motorola 69--13 receivers <br />5 Motorola 69.-18 receivers <br />5 Motorola 69 -13 receivers (salvage) <br />1 Philco car receiver <br />1 Howard receiver (salvage) <br />2 RCA type MI -7815A receivers, motorcycle <br />1 HRO station receiver, 1634 Kc. <br />2 B- 19 -24A Motorola receivers <br />1 B- 19 -24HF Motorola receiver <br />1 Doolittle and Folknor FD -8 frequency monitor <br />14 Bassett HEF -30 car transmitters <br />14 Bassett HF -15 car transmitters <br />2 Bassett car transmitters (salvage) <br />2. The City of South Bend shall petition the Judge <br />of the St. Joseph Circuit Court for the appointment of three <br />disinterested freeholders of this city to act as appraisers <br />and upon compliance with law is authorized to consummate <br />the sale of said personal property either singly or in <br />groups as may be determined to be in the best interests <br />of said city without further approval of the Common Council. <br />3.
