ORDINANCE N0. 3,-` 3 <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA, that: <br />1. The use by vehicles of every kind and nature of property <br />owned by the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same is hereby <br />prohibited, except as is herein provided. <br />2. The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, be and it is hereby authorized to adopt <br />reasonable Rules and Regulations governing the use of property <br />owned by the City of South Bend, Indiana, by vehicles of every <br />kind and nature. The said Board may adopt Rules and Regulations <br />prohibiting the use of such property by vehicles, or allowing <br />the use f6r.limited times, or during specific hours. The said <br />Board may restrict the use of said property to vehicles owned by <br />the City of SouthBend, or any of its Departments, or owned by any <br />official, officer, or employee, of the City, provided that such <br />limitations shall be reasonable. <br />3. If Regulations concerning the use of any particular piece <br />of property owned by said City,are adopted by said Board, then such <br />Regulations shall become effective when a sign or poster of reason- <br />able size is prepared and placed at, near, or upon such property, <br />stating the limitations concerning the use thereof by vehicles. <br />4. Each person, firm or corporation, violating the provisions of <br />this Ordinance, and the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Public <br />Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, relating thereto, shall <br />be subject to a fine of not more than $50.00 for each such offense. <br />5.
