!at & 2nd REQXGi <br />09"TTEE Of THE <br />PURIM HEARIN <br />3rd REAVO 40-< <br />N!T <br />RUMM <br />PA63E8 /O - a <br />ORDINANCE N0. 9✓ S y o <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary for the South Bend Water <br />Works Trustees to cause to be installed two (2) wells and <br />two (2) pumps at the Oliver Pumping Station and the North Pump- <br />ing Station, South Bend, Indiana; and <br />WHEREAS, the lowest bid received for the sale and <br />installation of said wells and pumps is from the Layne - Northern <br />Company, and is in the amount of Twenty -eight Thousand Six <br />Hundred and Sixty ($282660.00) Dollars; <br />Nowt THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />Section 1: <br />The Trustees of the South Bend Water Works are here- <br />by authorized to enter into a contract with the Layne- Northern <br />Company for the purchase from and the installation by the <br />Layne- Northern Company of two (2)`-wells and two (2) pumps at the <br />Oliver Pumping Station and the North Pumping Station, South Bend, <br />Indiana, for the consideration of Twenty -eight Thousand Sig <br />Hundred and Sixty ($282660.00) Dollars.
