1253 Diamond <br />Historical Context <br />This property is located on the west side of Diamond Avenue, south of Portage, <br />in South Bend, Indiana. ft is described as being lot 368 Vassar Park Addition to South <br />Bend. <br />The house was built in 1920? (Data is incomplete per Rhonda) <br />Louis St Lucile Hasly sold the house to ]ames sz Yvonne Cullather on July 7, <br />1963. On November 2, 1993- the house was purchased by Sahag Oxian. <br />ARCHITECTl1RAL DESCRIPTION <br />This is a two story vernacular style house is rectangular in plan with a brick <br />foundation and wood shingle siding. The roof is a low pitched, cross gable with fascia <br />and wood soffit. The house has a fully enclosed front porch with gabled roof, three over <br />one windows and brick piers at the corners. The windows are ten over one double hung <br />along the front facade and eight over one double hung along the sides.
