<br />GASOLINE, $2810.660 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

<br />Whereas, certain budgetary accounts of the City of Sout4 Bend, Indiana,
<br />in the budget for the calendar year of 1947, were insufficient to pay for the
<br />materials and services required by and furnished to the City during the said
<br />year of 1947, as it appears from the claims filed with the City since January
<br />1st, 1948; and
<br />Whereas., the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana, has made a full and complete check and investigation of the aforementioned
<br />olaims; and said Board has found that the materials and services as represented
<br />by the aforesaid claims were required by and supplied and furnished to said City
<br />during the year 1947; now, therefore
<br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana,
<br />that:
<br />Section 1. There be and there is hereby appropriated from the General Fund
<br />of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the uses and purposes, of paying the claims
<br />referred to in the preamble of this Ordinance, of the following budgetary accounts,
<br />the amount set opposite eaoh:

<br />Street and Traffic Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the uses and
<br />purposes, of paying the claims referred to in the preamble of this Ordinance,

<br />after its passage by the Common "Council, its approval by the Mayor, and the
<br />fulfillment of all statutory requirements relating to emergency appropriations*
