- 2 - <br />Beginning on the north line of Pokagon Street at <br />the west line of the alley west of Michigan Street <br />said point being twenty and four tenths feet (20.41) <br />west of the southwest corner of Lot No. 26 of Leeper's <br />Revised 2nd Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana, <br />thence Northwesterly along a line a distance of fifty -one <br />and three tenths feet (51.31) to a point, said point <br />being three and twenty -five hundredths feet (3.251) <br />north of the north line of Pokagon Street projected west <br />and on the east line of the Michigan Central Railroad <br />right of way line, thence Northwesterly on a one degree <br />twenty -four minute (10241) curve to the right along <br />said right of way line to the south line of Angela Blvd., <br />thence Bast on the South line of said Angela Blvd., fifty - <br />one and one tenth feet (51.1') to the west line of the <br />alley west of Michigan Street, thence Southeasterly on <br />a one degree twenty -four minute (1024') curve to the left <br />along the said west line of the alley west of Michigan <br />Street to the place of beginning. <br />Section 2. That the City of South Bend sell, assign, transfer, <br />convey, and set over by proper instrument, in writing, to any pur- <br />chaser thereof the teal estate hereinabove described for not less <br />than the full appraised value thereof as reported by the appraisers <br />appointed by the Judge of the Circuit Court of the St. Joseph County, <br />Indiana; and the iviayor is hereby ordered, directed and authorized <br />to execute and deliver to such purchaser or purchasers thereof, <br />upon the payment of the appraised value thereof, a good and sufficient <br />deed, and this shall be sufficient authority to him in said premises. <br />.Section 3. <br />(a) That there shall be reserved in said instrument of conveyance <br />a public utilities eas"'ent a distance of ten feet (10') in width <br />extending Northwesterly and Southeasterly from the south line of <br />Angela Blvd. to the north line of Pokagon Street adjoining and <br />parallel to the east line of the Michigan Central Railroad right <br />of way line. <br />(b) That the real estate herein authorized to be sold and trans- <br />(erred shall be used exclusively for the purpose of parking and /or <br />housing of automobiles, save and except a triangular piece of land <br />taken out of the above described premises to accommodate a portion <br />or corner of an apartment building proposed to be constructed on <br />
