BOARD OF FINANCE <br />• Elections of Officers <br />President —Dr. Fred Ferlic <br />Secretary — Dr. David Varner <br />• JohnMurphy — Presentation <br />• InvestmentOfficers <br />John Murphy — City Controller <br />Rahman Johnson — Director of City Finance <br />Jennifer Hockenhull — Deputy Controller <br />Paul Gifford —1st Source Investment Officer <br />JANUARY 26, 2015 4:45 P.M. <br />The Board of Finance, as required by State law, met in their annual meeting to accomplish a number of <br />items. <br />The meeting was called specifically to do the following: <br />1. Elect Board of Finance Officers — President and Secretary. Dr. Fred Ferlic was elected President <br />by the Council and Dr. David Varner Secretary. <br />2. Review the written report from the City Controller summarizing the results of the City's <br />investments in the past year. <br />3. Appoint Investment Officers — the City uses V Source represented at this meeting by Paul <br />Gifford. <br />4. Review the overall City investment policy. <br />This is all summarized in the 38 page Board of Finance Annual Report (attached). John Murphy, Jennifer <br />Hockenhull, and Rahman Johnson made their presentation to the Council by walking them through the <br />annual report. <br />The meeting was adjourned after motions to approve the report were made by Karen White and Gavin <br />Ferlic which were accepted by all. <br />Meeting was adjourned at 5:05 P.M. <br />Respectfully Su bum it ted, <br />7 <br />Council Member Dr. Fred Ferlic, President <br />Board of Finance Committee <br />
