Larry spoke to proposed PUD text changes as well as technical subdivision revisions. In
essence he said it had been over a decade since there was a comprehensive review of zoning standards
county -wide. He described a desire to simplify zoning terminology and process to make zoning more
understandable and user friendly for everyone. He pledged regular progress updates for the Council
while encouraging their input.
This led to questions from both Karen White and David Varner about the relevance of "City Plan."
Larry said the City Plan was a vision or guidepost of what we would like the City to be in the future.
David Varner and Henry Davis had additional questions about adherence of decisions to an overall
comprehensive plan.
Larry pledged`ongoingpommunication as the overall review evolves.
Oliver
adjourning at 5:3, Oliver Davis stated the advisability of Council representation on the APC
n Committee
