RESOLUTION NO. Z. � -1 1 <br />A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ADOPTION OF A DECLARATORY <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS <br />3601 WEST MCGILL <br />TO BE AN ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION AREA FOR PURPOSES OF A <br />FIVE (5) YEAR PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT FOR <br />JRS ENTERPRISES, LLC <br />WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, has adopted a Declaratory <br />Resolution designating certain areas within the City as Economic Revitalization Areas for the purpose of tax <br />abatement consideration; and <br />WHEREAS, a Declaratory Resolution designated the area commonly known as 3601 West McGill and <br />which is more particularly described as follows: <br />A part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 38 North, Range 2 East, City of South Bend, St. <br />Joseph County, Indiana, described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Section 28; thence <br />South 89 °48'05" West along the North line of said Quarter Section a distance of 1305.00 feet; thence South <br />0 °00'23" West along the centerline of Kenmore Street a distance of 363.70 feet; thence South 9 °59'37" East <br />along said centerline a distance of 486.87 feet to the centerline intersection of Kenmore Street with McGill <br />Street; thence South 80 °00'23" West along the centerline of McGill Street a distance of 303.50 feet; thence <br />North 89 °59'37" West along said centerline a distance of 270.66 feet; thence North 0 °00'23" East a distance <br />of 35.00 feet to the North right of way boundary of said McGill Street and the point of beginning; thence <br />North 0 °00'23" East a distance of 366.65 feet; thence North 89 °48'06" East a distance of 260.00 feet; thence <br />South 0 °00'23" West a distance of 361.04 feet to the North boundary of said McGill Street; thence <br />Southwesterly along said boundary 156.61 feet along an arc to the right having a radius of 1874.86 feet and <br />subtended by a long chord having a bearing of South 80 °48'36" West and a length of 156.43 feet; thence <br />North 89 °59'37" West along said boundary a distance of 103.57 feet to the point of beginning, later to be <br />known as Lot One (1) McGill Street First Minor Subdivision. <br />(more commonly known as 3601 West McGill, South Bend, Indiana, 46628) together with the improvements <br />and fixtures located thereon <br />and which has Key Number 25- 1010 - 0385.14, as an Economic Revitalization Area; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of the adoption of a Declaratory Resolution and the public hearing before the <br />Council has been published pursuant to Indiana Code 6- 1.1- 12.1 -2.5; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council held a public hearing for the purposes of hearing all remonstrances and <br />objections from interested persons; and <br />
