RESOLUTION NO. 2-1 � R - 1 A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ADOPTION OF A DECLARATORY RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS 4401 WEST CLEVELAND ROAD EXTENSION TO BE AN ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION AREA FOR PURPOSES OF A FIVE (5) YEAR PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT FOR ADAPTO- INDIANA, INC. WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, has adopted a Declaratory Resolution designating certain areas within the City as Economic Revitalization Areas for the purpose of tax abatement consideration; and WHEREAS, a Declaratory Resolution designated the area commonly known as 4401 West Cleveland Road and which is more particularly described as follows: A part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 21, Township 38 North, Range 2 East described as follows: Commencing at an iron pipe marking the North Quarter Section corner of said Section 21; thence West, on the North line of said Section and the centerline of Brick Road, 1322.04 feet; thence South 530 feet; thence West, parallel with the North line of said Section, 138.98 feet; thence South 445 feet, more or less to the place of beginning; thence continuing South 1218 feet more or less to a point on the Northerly right of way line on the new Cleveland Road; thence Westerly along said Northerly right of way 550.29 feet to the Southeast corner of Trans Tech Properties Minor Subdivision, recorded as Document Number 8614287; thence North 795.17 feet to the Northeast corner of said Subdivision; thence West along the North line of said Plat 561.72 feet to the Northwest corner of said Subdivision; thence North 260 feet, more or less; thence East to the place of beginning. with said real estate having the following Key Number 25- 1013 - 020704, as an Economic Revitalization Area; and WHEREAS, notice of the adoption of a Declaratory Resolution and the public hearing before the Council has been published pursuant to Indiana Code 6 -1.1- 12.1 -2.5; and WHEREAS, the Council held a public hearing for the purposes of hearing all remonstrances and objections from interested persons; and WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the qualifications for an economic revitalization area have been met.
