RESOLUTION NO. ZS 2,3— 00 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, COMMENDING JOHN HOSINSKI FOR HIS 4 YEARS OF PUBLIC SERVICE AS <br />A COUNCIL MEMBER AT LARGE <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Common Council acknowledges that John Hosinski is completing <br />his fourth year as a Council Member at Large; and <br />WHEREAS, during his term on the Common Council, Council Member Hosinski displayed <br />particular attention to detail as evidenced by his special attention to matters of "miscellany" coming <br />before various Council Committees, as well as the Council as a whole; and <br />WHEREAS, some of Council Member Hosinski's activities included serving as a conscientious <br />Chairperson of the Zoning and Annexation Committee and serving as the Vice - President of the <br />Common Council; <br />WHEREAS, Council Member Hosinski will be remembered for his efforts to ease the parking <br />restrictions in the East Bank area so that future economic development could take place, as well as his <br />successful efforts in promoting the furthering the "Bonnie Hosinski" Leeper Park sidewalk project; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Council Member Hosinski will also be remembered for his keen sense of wit and <br />humor, and his sincere efforts to assure that the concerns of all residents and promoters of the City <br />of South Bend had the opportunity to be heard. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, as follows: <br />Section I. On behalf of all the citizens of the City of South Bend, Indiana, the Common Council <br />thanks JOHN HOSINSKI for his four (4) years of service as a Council Member at Large for the City <br />of South Bend. <br />Section II. The Common Council wishes John continued success in his law career and the very <br />best to his wife, Bonnie, and their growing family. <br />Section III. The Common Council is especially proud to see that Council Member Hosinski <br />has continued the Hosinski family tradition of public service by following in the footsteps of his father, <br />Judge William Hosinski, and his grandfather, Sheriff William "Big Bill" Hosinski. <br />Section IV.
