I <br />ORDINANCE NO. 3 (1_4 <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF <br />CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY BY THE ITY <br />OF SOUTH BAND <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, that; <br />1. The City of South Bend, Indiana, by and <br />through the Board of Public 1 +1orks and Safety and other <br />proper officers and officials be and it hereby is <br />authorized to sell street car rails which have been <br />and are to be removed from the streets of the City <br />of South Bend, said street car rails being of no <br />use to the said city. <br />2. The City of South Bend shall petition the <br />Judge of the St. Joseph Circuit Court for the appoint- <br />ment of three (3) disinterested freeholders of this <br />city to act as appraisers and upon compliance with <br />law is authorized to consummate the sale of said per- <br />sonal property either singly or together as may be <br />determined to be in the best interests of said city <br />without further approval of the Common Council. <br />3.
