Staszewski Annexation Area 5 ' <br />I. Assessments <br />1998 payable 1999, St. Joseph County Auditor property tax records: <br />Land: $1,970 <br />Improvements: $9,600 <br />Non - Profit: $0.00 <br />Net: $8,570 <br />J. Municipal Legislative District <br />The Annexation Area will be in the 1st District. <br />K. Hiring Plan <br />It is anticipated that this annexation will not result in the elimination of jobs for employees of any <br />other governmental entities. The German Township Trustee has been notified of this annexation. <br />SECTION III. MUNICIPAL SERVICES <br />A. Public Works <br />Sewer - An existing 8 -inch sanitary sewer is located on Olive Road. It has sufficient capacity to <br />service this site. <br />Water - There is an existing 16 -inch water main on Olive Road. There is more than adequate <br />flow foe new customers on Olive Road. <br />Olive Road in front of the Annexation Area was annexed into the City in December of 1998. The <br />Street Department currently maintains the pavement, sweeps, and clears snow. <br />The City will bear the expense of electricity for street lights from the General Fund. Street lights <br />have been ordered in connection with the previous annexation. <br />The City is currently studying the infrastructure needs of the general area to promote continued <br />economic development. Traffic capacity and safety is part of those studies. The study is being <br />done on a schedule to allow improvements to the roadway and storm drainage as early as 2001. <br />There are no waivers of right of remonstrance on file. <br />Extensions of, or taps into sanitary sewer and water lines shall be governed by I.C. 36- 9 -22 -2, <br />I.C. 8 -1.5 -3 and 4, and the rules and regulations of the South Bend Water )Lerkc and Sewer <br />Utility. <br />Filed In Clerk's Ma'eca <br />MAR 0 8 2000 <br />LORETTA J.
