ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL <br />STREET AND TRAFFIC FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA, OF THE FOLLOWING AMOUNT TO THE <br />FOLLUVING INDICATED ACCOUNT OF THE 1948 BUDGET: <br />STREET DEPARTMENT, 3-539 REFUNDS, AWARDS AND <br />INDEMNITIES, $2,000.00, AND DECLARING AN EXTRA- <br />ORDINARY EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL, of the CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA, that; <br />Section 1. There be and there is hereby appropriated <br />from the General Street and Traffic Fund of the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, for the uses and purposes of the following <br />Indicated account of the 1948 budget, to -wit: <br />STREET DEPARTMENT; <br />S -539 REFUNDS, AWARDS AND INDEMNITIES - - - - - -$ 2,000.00 <br />Section 2. The COMMON COUNCIL finds the existence of an <br />extraordinary emergency requiring the appropriation of the <br />funds as aforesaid. <br />Section 3.
