ORDINAICE NO. WMMMAS, in the budget of the Park Department of the City of South Bend, an appropriation was made of $700.00 for the purpose of con- ducting public band concerts in the parka of said city, in accordance with long established custom, and ',SAS, the Board of Park Commissioners of the City of South Bend has deemed it necessary and advisable to increase this form of pub- lic service in the interest of the citizens of said city and that the additional cost thereof shall be $1680,40• NOW, TH'ERMCIM, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend that: 1. The amount of $1680.00 be, and the same is hereby transferred from Budgetary Account 711, properties, building and fixtures of the Park Department of the Municipal City of South Bend to Budgetary Account 261, Services Contractual, of the Park Department of the Municipal City of South Bend for the calendar year 1948. 2. The amount of $1680,00, in addition to the amount previously appropriated therefore, be and the same is hereby appropriated for the uses and purposes of Budgetary Account 261, Services Contractual, Park Department of the Municipal City of South Bend, in the budgetary year 1948. 3. An emergency exists requiring the transfer and appropriation of the foregoing sums. 4, This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and the fulfillment of statutory require- ments governing emergency appropriation.
