<br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND PARK
<br />MAINTENANCE FUND THE SUM OF $125.00 TO ACCOUNT NO. 381, SPRAY-
<br />ING ?MATERIAL AND FERTILIZER, PARK DEPARTMENT; ALSO TRANSFERRING
<br />THE SUM OF $10,675.00 FROM ACCOUNT NO. 43, DRIVES AND WALKS,
<br />PARK DEPARTMENT, TO THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNTS IN THE AMOUNT IN-
<br />DICATED: ACCOUNT NO. 11, LABOR, SERVICES TEMPORARY, 01,500.00;
<br />ACCOUNT NO. 2610 OTHER CONTRACTUAL SERVICES, $400.00; ACCOUNT
<br />NO. 332, OIL, $100.00; ACCOUNT N0. 442, PARK MAINTENANCE,
<br />$400.00; ACCOUNT NO. 711, BUILDINGS AND FIXED EQUIPMENT, $7575.00;
<br />AND ACCOUNT NO, 726, OTHER EQUIPMENT, $700.00, ALL IN PARK DEPART -
<br />MENT, AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana:
<br />Section 1. That the sum of $125.00 be, and the same hereby is ap-
<br />propriated from the City of South Bend Park Maintenance Fund, to, and is
<br />appropriated for the uses and purposes of the following budgetary item in
<br />the budget of the Park Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for
<br />the year 1949, to-wit-
<br />Account No. 381 Spraying Material and Fertilizer $ 125.00
<br />Section 2. That the following monies be, and the same hereby are
<br />transferred, namely: $10,675.00 from Account No. 43, Drives and Walks,
<br />Park Department, to and are appropriated for the uses and purposes of the
<br />following budgetary items in the budget of the Park Department of the City
<br />of South Bend, Indiana, for the year 1949, to -wit:

<br />Section 3. That the sums of money, enumerated in Sections 1 and 2
<br />of this Ordinance, are required for the proper and efficient operation and
<br />function of the aforementioned Department of the Government of the City
<br />of South Bend, Indiana, and an extraordinary emergency is declared to exist
<br />concerning the foregoing appropriations and transfers.
<br />Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
<br />from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the
<br />Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements relating to extra-
<br />ordinary emergency appropriations.
