ORDINANCE NO. t3 1_74;'-1 <br />AN ORDINANCE REDUCING CERTAAIN ITEMS IN THE 1919 <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, MUJ ICIPAL CIVIL CITY BUDGET <br />IN CERTAIN DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICES THEREOF, AND <br />REAPPROPRIATING SAID REDUCED SUPS TO CERTAIN OTHER. <br />BUDGETARY ITEMS OF THE 1949 N.TUNICIPAL CIVIL CITY" <br />BUDGET OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND DECL °,ING AN <br />EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana: <br />Section 1. That the following items in the 1949 Municipal <br />Civil City Budget of South Bend, Indiana, in the offices and depart- <br />ments enumerated in this section be, and the same are hereby re- <br />duced in the amounts indicated, to -emit: <br />OFFICE OF CITY .ATTOR117LY: <br />Account No. G -725, Office Equipment u 100.00 <br />BUILDING DEPART ENT: <br />Account No. P1 -11, Temporary Help 265.00 <br />Section 2. That the sum of $365.00 be, and the same is here- <br />by reappropriated from the General Fund of the P•Iunicipal Civil <br />City of South Bend, Indiana, to, and is appropriated for the uses <br />and purposes of the following budgetary items in the amounts and <br />in the several offices and deipa.rtments, enumerated in this Section, <br />in the Budget for the year l9 `9, to -grit: <br />OFI'ICE OF CITY ATTORAEY: <br />Account No. G -367 Office Supplies ;z 100.00 <br />BUILDING D-PARTP IT: <br />Account No, 1%1- 21+2, Printing r 265.00 <br />Section 3. That the sums of money, enumerated in Section 2 <br />thereof of this Ordinance, are required for the proper and efficient <br />operation and function of 'the aforementioned Departments of the Gov- <br />ernment of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and an extraordinary <br />emergency is declared to exist concerning the foregoing appropriations <br />and transfers. <br />Section 4.
