Authority$ <br />as Agency of the Government of the.united.States of.Amerioa., cemveyed to the <br />Municipal City of South Bend Indiana, full right,.title.and intsrest.ia and to <br />one hundred tbirtywfour (134 wits of. movable dwelling aceomodations ;.and <br />WHEREAS, the aforesaid dwelling aocomodations were. placed on land owned <br />by the Bendix. Products. Corporation, the lease to which has since expired and <br />cannot be renewed; and <br />WHRREAS& the Canon Council of the City of South Bend, Indians, has by <br />Resolution adopted.on July 26, IW O provided that any unit of said dwelling <br />a000nmodations which became vacant thereafter shall. remain vacant and not <br />subject to further rental; and <br />TWREAS& 106 units are now vacant and, the remaining. ones. are expected <br />to be vacated in the near future; and <br />WHEREAS, it is to the best interests of the City of South Bend that said <br />vacated units be sold and that the units still 000upled_be sold as -soon as they <br />are vacatede <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Comma Council of the City of South <br />Bend,, Indiana: <br />Section l• That the Judge of the Circuit Court of St. Joseph_Cenaty, <br />Indiema, be requested to appoint three disinterested fresholders.of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, to appraise the.buildings, oommoniy. called %wmble <br />dwelling. aoconmodationse, and located - on Late mambered ninety -one. (91) to one <br />hundred siaty« one (161),both inclusive.1n.Westehester Second Unit,,& subdivision <br />within the City of -South Bend, St• Joseph County, Indiana, which said buildings <br />are new owned by the Manieipal City.of South Bend•. <br />Section 70 That the City of. South Bend sell, assigns transfer, convey <br />and not over by proper instruasnt, In writing, to any purchaser or purchasers <br />thereof the buildings hersimsbove described for not less than the full appraised <br />value thereefi as reported by the appraisers appointed by the Judge of the <br />Circuit. Court of St• Joseph.
