M] <br />WHEREAS, said contract is now submitted to the <br />Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for its <br />due approval by ordinance; <br />SECTION 1. BE IT THEREFORE AND IT IS HEREBY <br />ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bead, <br />Indiana that the foregoing contract made and entered into <br />on the lst day of duly, 1949, between the City of South <br />Bend, Indiana, by and through its Board of Public Works <br />and Safety, and Indiana & Michigan Electric Company, its <br />successors and assigns, be and the same is hereby in all <br />things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />SECTION 2.
