RESOLUTION NO. Z�L\ � —0 RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA ADOPTING THE KELLER PARK NEIGHBORHOOD STRATEGIC ACTION PLAN WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, recognizes the need to improve, protect and preserve both its commercial corridors and nodes and the adjacent neighborhoods through community -based planning and research; and WHEREAS, the Keller Park Neighborhood is comprised of those properties abutting the Portage Ave. Commercial Corridor with Woodlawn Dr. on the North, Angela St. on the South, Riverside Dr. on the East and Portage Ave. on the West; and WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, in association with the Keller Park Neighborhood Association has commissioned a Strategic Action Plan for the Keller Park Neighborhood; and WHEREAS, the Keller Park Neighborhood Strategic Action Plan was created through the input of residents, property owners and business owners throughout the Keller Park Neighborhood and the Portage Ave. commercial corridor in several neighborhood planning meetings which were advertised in the Keller Park newsletter, mailings of personal invitations and door to door contact; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana as follows: SECTION I. That the Keller Park Neighborhood Strategic Action Plan is approved as the land use policy plan for future land use development in the area considered. SECTION II. That the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana does hereby recommend adoption of this plan to the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana. SECTION III.
