CITY OF SOUTH BEND 5, INDIANA <br />CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br />October 3, 1952 <br />To The Common Council <br />City of South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen:- <br />Petition for change of zoning of 51 lots in Oliver's <br />Second Addition from light industrial to residence <br />district was given public hearing at the regular <br />meeting of the City Plan Commission September 4, <br />1952. <br />As was disclosed at the hearing the objective sought <br />by the petitioners is the control of traffic through <br />the streets of that area rather than control of the <br />use of the property. The City Plan Commission is not <br />in position to control or to authorize the control of <br />street traffic. <br />This change is not recommended. <br />Yours truly, <br />D.
