PETITION FOR AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, WHICH SAID ORDINANCE IS MORE <br />PARTICULARLY KNOWN AS ORDINANCE NO. <br />3702, FOR THE CHANGE OF ZONING FROM <br />C COMMERCIAL USE DISTRICT AND D HEIGHT <br />AND AREA DISTRICT TO B RESIDENCE USE <br />DISTRICT AND A HEIGHT AND AREA DISTRICT. <br />TO THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />The undersigned, being more than Fifty per cent. <br />(50%) of the owners of the following described real estate <br />in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, to wit: <br />Lots Numbered 164, 165, 166, 168 and <br />169 as shown on the recorded Plat of <br />Realty Construction Company's Second <br />Addition to the City of South Bend; <br />Lots Numbered 390, 391, 392, 418, <br />419 and 420 as shown on the recorded <br />Second Plat of Summit Place Addition <br />to the City of South Bend;;Lots Num- <br />bered 498 to 507 inclusive 511 to <br />519 inclusive and 656 to 6h inclusive <br />as shown on the recorded Third Plat of <br />Summit Place Addition to the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, <br />do hereby respectfully petition that the aforesaid Ordinance <br />No. 3702 be amended in order that the zoning of the above <br />described realty be changed from C Commercial Use District <br />and D Height and Area District to B Residence Use District <br />and A Height and Area District so that the aforesaid real <br />estate will be adaptable for the uses permitted by and <br />under said B Residence Use District and A Height and Area <br />District and subject to the restrictions pertaining <br />thereto. <br />The above described real estate includes all <br />realty which is presently zoned as a C Commercial Use <br />District and D Height and Area District along Ford Street <br />from the West line of Phillips Street to the East line of <br />Meade Street except the following described realty on which <br />presently are located grocery store buildings: <br />(1) Lot Number 167 as shown <br />Recorded Plat of Realty Coms <br />Company's Second Addition to <br />of South Bend.
