ORDINANCE NO. 3822 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, ADOPTED JUNE 13, 1949, AND COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND. An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 3702, adopted June 13, 1949, and commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance ofthe City of South Bend. WHEREAS, the real estate hereinafter described is presently zoned as HEu Heavy Industrial district and "E° Height and Area district; and WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission has recommended that the zoning thereof be changed as hereinafter provided. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that Ordinance No. 3702, which ordinance is commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, be amended as follows: Section 1 The following described real estate situated in the City of South Bend, be and the same is hereby rezoned as OB" Residence district and "Bit Height and Area districts Beginning at a point 205 ft. East of the Northwest corner Of Section 16, Township 37 N Range 2 E, thence East along the North line of said Section, corresponding to center line of Sample Street, a distance of 1793.71 ft.; thence South a distance of 1180 ft.; thence West a distance of 2001 ft. plus or minus to West line of said section; thence North along the west line of said Section, a distance of 120 ft. to the South property line of Meadow Lane; thence East along said property line a distance of 205 ft.; thence North a distance of 1060 ft., to place of beginning. All located in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and consisting of 53.3 acres. Section 2 This Ordinance shall be in effect from and after its passage and legal publication.
