UTILITIES DECEMBER 8, 2014 3:55 P.M. <br />Committee Members: Dr. David Varner, Valerie Schey (AB), Dr. Fred Ferlic, Karen White <br />Citizen Members Present: Kathleen Petitjean <br />Other Council Present: Tim Scott, Henry Davis, Oliver Davis, Derek Dieter, Gavin Ferlic <br />Other Present: Vacant <br />Agenda: Bill 64 -14 Appropriations for 2014 in the Sewage Department <br />With a quorum present, only Valerie Schey absent, Chairman Dr. David Varner opened the Utilities <br />Committee meeting with one bill to be considered. <br />Bill 64 -14 asked for additional appropriations for 2014 in Sewage Department funds. Like bills previously <br />considered by the Personnel & Finance Committee this bill was presented by City Controller John <br />Murphy. As before this bill was a housekeeping bill intended to square accounts for year -end where <br />projected dollar expenditures may not have matched actual levels. Again these appropriations were for <br />State Board of Accounts compliance and did not represent dollars not already budgeted for 2014. <br />After brief discussion Dr. Fred Ferlic moved to recommend favorably. Karen White seconded and all <br />affirmed. <br />Dr. Varner noted there would be a special meeting of the Utilities Committee on Monday, December 15 <br />at 4:00 to review the CSO Plan. <br />Dr. Varner adjourned the meeting at 4:04 P.M. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Dr. David Varner, Chairperson <br />
