PERSONNEL & FINANCE DECEMBER 8, 2014 3:30 p.m. <br />Committee Members Present: Valerie Schey (AB), Derek Dieter, Dr. David Varner, <br />Henry Davis (AB) <br />Citizen Members Present: Vacant <br />Other Council Present: Tim Scott, Dr. Fred Ferlic, Oliver Davis, Karen White (AB), <br />Gavin Ferlic <br />Others Present: John Murphy <br />Agenda: Bill 63 -14 Additional 2014 Appropriations <br />Bill 65 -14 2014 Budget Transfers <br />In Committee Chair Valerie Schey's absence Vice -Chair David Varner called the meeting to order. <br />Dr. Varner indicated there were to bills up for consideration both of which were routine housekeeping <br />year end appropriations and transfers. No new money not already approved for the 2014 budget were <br />to be considered. <br />For both bills Dr. Varner called upon City Controller John Murphy to explain the moves to square <br />accounts. <br />Jon Murphy briefly explained the required year end bookkeeping procedure before asking if there were <br />any questions. <br />Only brief discussion followed before Dr. Varner noted without a quorum of the committee no <br />recommendation to full Council would follow. <br />Dr. Varner adjourned the meeting at 3:36 p.m. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Dr. David Varner <br />Vice - Chairperson <br />
