The project calls for the acquisition and <br />installation of new machine and equipment at the company's South Bend Facility at 1827 North Bendix <br />Drive. Also attached is a copy of the petition, Statement of Benefits form and supporting information. <br />The report contains the Department's findings relative to the above petition. Mann +Hummel USA, Inc. <br />will provide the South Bend facility with additional capacity to manufacture air intake manifolds for General <br />Motors. In addition to hiring ten (10) new employees, local contractors will be used for installation and start <br />up. The total cost of this project is approximately $2.6 million.
