South Bend Redevelopment Commission Regular Meeting — November 10, 2014 6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) A. Public Hearings (1) continued... Mr. Relos noted that the Public Hearing file for Resolution No. 3227 is complete, containing the following items: (1) a copy of the Notice of Hearing; (2) a copy of Resolution No. 3227; (3) a copy of the Area Plan Commission's Resolution No. 237 -14 approving the Commission's declaratory resolution; (4) a copy of the South Bend Common Council Resolution No. 4402 -14 approving the Area Plan Commission's resolution; (5) affidavits from the South Bend Tribune and the Tri- County News that the Notice of Hearing was published in those newspapers on October 31, 2014; (6) a statement from David Relos that affected property owners were mailed a copy of the Notice of Hearing on October 31, 2014; (7) a statement from David Relos that on October 30, 2014 both the neighborhood associations and taxing units were sent a copy of the Notice of Hearing; (7) as of 9:00 a.m., November 10, 2014 there were no written remonstrances received concerning Resolution No. 3227. Ms. Jones opened the Public Hearing on Resolution No. 3227 for anyone who wished to speak. There was no one who wished to speak. Ms. Jones closed the Public Hearing for whatever action the Commission wished to take. (2) Consideration of Resolution No. 3254 confirming a declaratory resolution and amendment to the Development Plan for the South Side Development Area adopted by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the Commission approved Resolution No. 3254 confirming a declaratory resolution and amendment to the Development Plan for the South Side Development Area adopted by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. (3) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 3228 designating and declaring certain areas as Redevelopment Areas and adding certain territory from the South Bend Central Development Area for the purpose of amending the boundaries of the Northeast Neighborhood Development Area and the Northeast Neighborhood Development Area Allocation Area No. 1 and approving an amendment to the Development Plan for said area.
