TO THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND: <br />Your Committee of the Whole, to whom was referred: <br />BILL NO. <br />04 -12 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND DESIGNATING CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE CITY <br />OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS 4217 <br />CHERRY POINTE DRIVE, 4435 WHITEFEATHER DRIVE, 4401 <br />WHITEFEATHER DRIVE (OR 4025 CHERRY POINTE DRIVE), 4444 <br />WHITEFEATHER DRIVE (OR 4002 BRICK ROAD), 4434 <br />WHITEFEATHER DRIVE, 4426 WHITEFEATHER DRIVE, 4418 <br />WHITEFEATHER DRIVE, AND 4410 CHERRY POINTE DRIVE AS A <br />RESIDENTIALLY DISTRESSED AREA FOR PURPOSES OF A FIVE <br />(5) YEAR RESIDENTIAL REAL PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT FOR <br />ROJO DEVELOPMENT. INC. <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion, this bill is <br />being recommended to the full Council with a favorable recommendation as substituted by <br />the addition of Section X The Common Council pursuant to Section 2 -84 of the South <br />Bend Municipal Code finds the five (5) years is the appropriate and rational time period for <br />this tax abatement and changing the numbering of the original Section X to XI. <br />Sean Coleman <br />Chairman <br />
